To start off your day we provide you with breakfast. You can choose from cereals and toast to a full hearty English breakfast, all of which is served from our private dining room.
To end the day why not relax in our full licensed bar. We serve a wide variety of beers and spirits as well as the usual selection of soft drinks.

Hill Lodge Hotel are able to offer our customers complimentary tickets for the local swimming pool. (For use during public swimming times only, limited ticket numbers available).

For that all-important business meeting why not utilise our large conference room. Available in a variety of layouts we provide you with modern facilities enabling you and your colleagues to work efficiently.

For larger meeting you can use our 70 seater Banqueting Room. This can be utilised for business meeting or for that all-important social gathering. The hotel was registered in 1995 to perform Civil Marriages on its premises making us one of the leading venues for wedding celebrations in the Sudbury area.



Attractions

The ancient weaving town of Sudbury, situated on the River Stour, is the birthplace of painter Thomas Gainsborough, and still retains much of the character and charm of a medieval market town.

The surrounding unspoilt Suffolk countryside is noted for its many villages of historic interest including Cavendish which is home to the sue Ryder foundation, Long Melford with its Elizabethan Halls and the picturesque village of lavenham, famous for its splendid timbered houses and perpendicular church… the Roman town of Colchester, the Abbey ruins and garden of Bury St. Edmunds, the University City of Cambridge an Newmarket Racecourse are all within easy reach as also are the coastal resorts of Walton, Frinton, Southwold and Aldeburgh.

There are two-championship golf course at nearby Stoke-by-Nayland and an 18-hole golf course at Newton Green.

The two main car ferry ports for the continent at Harwich and Felixstowe are within 1 Hours drive with Central London only 62 miles away.
